Mo,>>>Since he missed Q4 revenues by a tiny 17% or $1 BILLION why would anyone believe this? <<<

He also states:>>Our new 1999 estimate in $3.60 a share, up from our previous $3.24 estimate and up 9% from estimated 1998 earnings.<<<

He ups 1999 estimates by 11% and says it is only up by 9% from yesterday's estimated 1998 earnings but up 14% from the day before's 1998 estimates and up 18% from his September 1998 estimates. That was only two months ago.

He was Neutral on Intel in September and he goes up 18% from there for 1999 and he is still Neutral.

Further, he states: >>>We continue to council patience as we have for the past 15 months.<<<

Something tells me he is going to take a proactive stance on his calls. Look for him to time some kind of statement when the Saddam thing goes up. He will show he can move the market one way or the other.

Regards,

Mary
