Hi Mike. I agree on the chip sample routine! After all I am the one that says Geologists never send dirt to have it assayed. However, in saying that, these are indicators of what is there, not how much is there.

checking with my Economic Geology journal articles with the location of the property makes it clear that it is a toss-up whether it is copper or gold/copper porphyry.

I agree and so does Mr. Ostler (geologist), this is what makes the property so interesting.

a)How far/direction are the vein deposits from the suspected porphyry?
b)How far/direction are the carbonate deposits from porphyry?

One of the biggest problems this early in the descriptives of this property is associating the geographical position the geologist is talking about. I have pages of information that describes outcrops in relationship to other outcrops. These outcrops are than given names. Then you get this barrage of information on a name and still can't figure out where it is in relationship to the porphry. Everything I have read thus far is confined in the 2kmx2km area they believe holds the porphry.

For those reading this response, that may be unaware. In porphry systems Gold or silver appears as an impurity. "love them impurities"! What is interesting to date, at least what I find interesting, is that the porphry structure seems to migrate from one impurity to another, indicating a possibility of a copper porphry, with gold impurites in one section of the property ,..to a copper porphry with silver impurities in another section. Various outcrops at different levels on the mountainside give the "impression" that the primary porphry will not have much "overburden" below the dome like breccia cap!

c)How many kilometers of IP/restivity are planned? 3-D? How deep?

The contract is supposed to be for the entire Coiron property, they intned on doing it once and doing it all! I will confirm once contract is let, and report back to the thread! I would say that the depth would be in excess of 600 metres. They should be able to use the recent drill hole tubes to add clarity to the porphry.

Still watching Chief-convince me!

If your intention is to buy 10,000,000 shares I would arrange for a dog and pony show with the Rock Group at your house! But 100 shares....come on!!<ggg>

Hi Mike. Just a note...not even "noteworthy" but nonetheless....

If you go to the Rock sight rockresources.com

Take a look at the Rock that is the "Rock resources Logo". You'll see a dip in the top of the rock. Where the rock dips, look straight down onto the hillside, directly below. That little, little, tiny image is a fellow by the name of Igor, a Chilean local, the Rock above him is leaching copper everywhere, the whole structure. It is now called the "Igor intrusive"!!
