Tom,

Keep in mind the volume requirement for a stairstep.
Also you'll note from the examples in the manual that the stairstep is most likely to occur before a stock is discovered. I'd say RECY was too recently discovered (last year) to now be obscure enough for a stairstep formation to occur.
Also, the current chart (volume notwithstanding) does not visually conform.
