AWE64 D The AWE 64 D was announced last year at Comdex. This is the chip that uses the SB link found on some motherboards. It was designed to be on the motherboard, and has been around for awhile. I believe the last NEC OEM deal that was announced about 2 months ago uses the same chip. I thought the AWE64 D was a failed project to date, thats why the lack of news on it. Maybe prices are better now? mike Its nice to see people calling the company for news on buybacks instead of speculation
