I don't intend to make this sound Negative, but AMD vs. INTC: you are comparing apples to oranges. Yes, it would be nice if AMD could take a bite, or even a small nibble out of INTC marketshare, but AMD will be taking bites out of the cyrix's, and all the smaller Chip companies. When you hear all the big companies realize Y2K won't go away by itself, PC makers and suppliers are going to go up like crazy. give it 6 months. give it a break. of course, IMHO.

Speaking , I hope for the rest of the contributors on this thread we appreciate your viewpoint and feelings regarding this thread .
Also Intel's break through the $100 area is bullish for both companies. AMD's pause today is healthy and the trading between
$24 + $25 puts a nice support under the stock . This stock IMHO has a long way to go .
