I'm one of the short sellers. I believe that their numbers won't be as potent as expected.

LH; both good points, but shorting Dell is nothing new and is the favorite past time for some over the ages (especially the ones with large fortunes in the beginning then ending up with a small one at the end),as for Hussian not even an issue really, the effect may last for a day or two at the most.It is not like it is going disrupt any business activities or anything.

I don't think Dell or any one else is depending on Iraq to meet the sales quota for the year, right.

<<Shorting may be an alternative strategy to going long but shorting Dell before the earnings report and not after a run-up is gambling, a potentially very dangerous adrenaline rush for gambler types.>>
Well stated, Lionheart
