Tried 3 times to customize a 450 mhz PC on CPQ's DIRECTPLUS - crapped out and locked out each time! If anybody else want's to give it a shot let us know how it goes. I really don't care for the fact that when you customize an option it automatically recalcs the price - it would be nicer if you could wait till you were done with all your options then update. Not being able to customize a PC is terrible - I hope I'm the only one with the problem.

CROSSROADS ??

It could be CPQ's time

1) Worry about DELL's earnings and extremely HIGH multiple

2) CPQ's well-timed aggressive and positive direct sales and SMB announcement 'yesterday'

3) WS's 'beginning' acceptance of the CPQ buyout and integration of DEC. As well, increases in profits & services.

5) As yet unrealized value of Alpha, Altavista, ...

6) Lowering non-issue of inventory problems.turnover

7) CPQ's piecing together of a FULL-service company approach and delivery.

8) It's time for WS's DELLers to change horses

NOW could be just the start of REVITALIZATION and stock GAIN time
