If SUNW can rise to its current levels from $38, ORCL can go to $40.

All the box manufacturers are flying. IBM, HP, SUNW, SQNT. They aren't deploying SQL Server on them... or Informix... or DB2.

Of course ORCL's fate is ultimately in the hands of Mr. Bill and the Fed. Bombing Iraq won't help us. Not cutting rates again won't help us. On the other hand, cutting rates again would insure $40.

BTW, Oracle has released a grants management offering built on Oracle Project Accounting that will be a real boon to universities and other institutions that need to do fund accounting. The U of MN has spent hundreds of millions trying to get a fund accounting package installed, not too successfully. Wish ORCL had its product available a few years back when they were shopping.
