This thread will be as exemplary or objectionable as we decide collectively that it should be. but sometimes it seems to me that, in the absence of company news of substance, the chat dances into a lot of other discussion. Usually, I find good entertainment value in it, if it doesn't get too out of hand, though I sincerely hope this is not the only return on my investment :-) The comparison of the cast of characters to a play, Biblical or otherwise, has been good reading. Zeev, did you start that? I've been wondering myself whether I'm tapped into a soap opera; we have all manner of colorful characters in the mix: the shorts, the longs, the analysts, the scientists, chemists, metallurgists, miners, the believers, the doubters, the thread-wreckers, the nay-sayers, the cheerleaders, people with names like investment houses (SAG), the orator-philosopher-pharmacist. Continuing to believe that the alchemists will persuade the old-tech metallurgists, and prove in new extraction paradigms.
