Can someone tell me why Komar is the subject of so much discussion. The guy thinks for himself. That doesn't mean his is necessarily right, but he voices his own opinion. He was right on Gateway, when the rest of the crowd were convinced GTW was going to have another great quarter.

I find him quite different than Kurlack. When Kurlack says something negative about INTC the stock goes into a tailspin. But Kurlack's track record has been awful lately.

Having said that in defense of Komar, let me say I think he is wrong. The data from IDC do not include October, and so the only possible place for him to get data on Dell sales would be from Dell itself. But I think Komar is alone among analysts, so I don't believe he got this idea of slower growth from Dell, unless he is interpreting Mikey's remarks about 20-25% market share in five years.

Anyway, I say give the guy a break. We need to read bearish and less enthusiatic opinions to get a balanced view of this company.
