Hi Freeus!

Can't find your post regarding " Options-Dell
Great company -skittish support" to I'll use your last posting.

Yoga Good Stuff!!! Like your description of same.

OK Girl I will say that if Kumar is right and if Dell will "slow" and not grow at 6 times the growth rate and if 4 x the growth rate is a fairer estimation and therefore Dell will not appreciate in stock price to the degree as it did in the past then Dell will not appreciate to the degree that it has in the past in the future. Maybe.

OK perhaps that is so. Remember, this doesn't necessarily make Dell a bad bet.

Not that this is your idea, but Kumar and others seem to ignore that Dell doesn't necessarily have to be setting new records to be an excellent long term bet or for that matter short term.

Perhaps we will not see our usual method of playing of Investing/Trading in Dell doing to the same degree what it had done in the past.

My take is that for at least a year Dell will do very well and continue to appreciate as a stock. To what degree? Who really knows? Isn't all of this about opinions?

I am always looking at what I think is the better way to go. If so than I may be well served in looking for a way to create additional profits from Dell via an alternate way to invest in Dell.

Certainly what is going on can not be straight lined measured with conventional mathematics within a short period of time. We can only use what we think we know about what is. We try to project an outcome and then make a decision.

Many times within a short period of time things change the projection. Many times the projection is based on too little information and or flawed information. Sometimes the interpretation of that information is flawed.

That is why short term predications are difficult but constant review of situation very important. The process is always in flux.

If I had to have one give one defensive piece of advice it is not to do anything dumb! If you are in this game long enough probably you will, most of us did, and still do. The idea is to learn how to minimize that.

If there one thing I would recommend to any player as one of the first things to really ground yourself in is learning that which to avoid!

The rest of it can be a varyingly profitable experience. It is after all a positive expectation game!

I'll be withdrawing for a while from the thread but I will be checking in to see how our family is doing!

Sincere Regards,

QT

PS : Check Investors Business Daily page A9 " An other Way for Dell to Double Again" Speaks directly to the surface part of your post to me.

My thoughts: Options……Why not?

Fact:Don't know what I need to know to address. Others on this thread and in SI better equipped to comment on application of same.
