Hi Max,

Gee ..... you are right. Real hard to keep up with all our old favorites. VRTY .... REAL NICE move recently. I wish I had my eye on that one over the last couple weeks. But I had APCO ..... made 100%+ there on common and option plays. Can't complain.

I noticed several of our daytrading friends touting a few biotechs that will be in the news shortly. Please be advised to all reading the read that these stocks will react like a "pump and dump" stock. The news will bring heavy buying and a rise in stock price (very likely) ..... but as soon as the steam runs out, the shorts and MMs will feast on driving the stock back down. My advise .... if you can watch them .... by all means take a shot ...... but use trailing stops for protection .... moving them up as the stock moves higher. I have used this strategy many times in the past when I had time to daytrade a little. When the stock runs ..... you guarantee (virtually) yourself a profit using the sell stop and can move it higher if the stock continues to run.

Hit and run trading is not what the Amigo Thread is all about but we certainly will scalp a stock that is ripe.
