Hello: Just stopped by the thread as I'm long Dell and was curious what the board was saying about earnings.

Couldn't resist picking the Benjamin Disraeli quote, since CREAM
named an album after him. (Kinda shows my age, huh?)

While the idustries are light years apart, the current Dell concern
reminds me a great deal of a company called Wal Mart. After about
the third split, analysts became cautious, investors became cautious
because "no company can do that again." Well, they did it again & again & again. IMO, Michael Dell is plugging along just like old Sam
Walton did. He ain't changing anything that isn't broke and the
results continue to show it.

Just my observation.
