Hi Freeus Not leaving. Trying to tie up loose ends here. Cutting down on thread will pick up with those in different thread in SI but on very limited basis ( I hope ). Need to get some input from others on short term, day trading, position trading, TA etc. All of which will take time to read the thread get an idea of who to keep an eye on, who will be helpful etc. So much to learn so little time to do so. I am working on a special project that believe it or not has something to do with all of the above except only on a very indirect basis of what I refer to as TA. Some say if it isn't fundamentals it is TA. Some say if it has anything to do with buy and sell signals it is TA. TA without the grounding I require is not adequately understood by me. I have a problem of handicapping stocks solely on TA/Buy Sell signals not connected to econometric conditions. The area of graph interpretation as chart patterns is not fully understood by me. I do have a fair understanding of the mathematical formulas and spectral analysis theories connected to this. But(not to be seen as a put down) the astrological aspects has caused me to retreat to those area's more familiar to me. I need to be more open and available to all of this. Someone said " the line between them has become gray " Fundamentals provide the reason and direction of price movement, and technical give the timing and risk control. I think I got too much fundamentals when compared to TA and I may not have enough fundamentals and I am woefully lacking in TA. I do however know that I, You, we can think and that is to a large measure, the key to all of this. That area, the graphs and all of that I am leaving to two or three others who will make use of certain data that I work with. Perhaps in that way we can create the connection I am looking for. Thanks Freeus. I haven't been around very long as QT. Was here long time ago. But Brian wiped out, according to Jill, the prior data base. So if I didn't post within the recent past I didn't make the freebie (not to be confused with Freeus) Paid my dues and came back as QT. Who knows if I decide to, I'll come back as something else. Then again that is another subject for a different time. See you around! QT
