I don't think that ABZ will be left in the dust. ABZ has nearly 1/3 interest in the Snap Lake dyke, pipe, cone sheet, whatever. If WSP heads for the moon, ABZ will be sucked along in the vortex. But, ABZ can be bought in the margin account, which does have certain advantages especially if you think that good news is immanent! BTW has anyone called IR at WSP lately to get a new estimate of when the lab results will be out? I'm geting a headache or a waitache or something.
I understand that the benevolent DEBEERS are planning to build a road this winter to the MPV site. It will pass very close to the SUF site at Back Lake. Does anyone have a good map and could they post some comments as to the likely route and how close they will come to Snap Lake? And does anyone know if Winspear is currently doing anymore shore drilling at this time?

From my calculations, for every $1.00 that accrues to Winspear's share price, $.30 should accrue to Aber's share price. This relation should hold firm once the speculative aspect is reduced.

Cheers

Your having a wet dream there Teevee. In which year will this happen.

PS Still looking for wsp to come down in which it will as there is no diamond news till Dec at the earlyest.
Wsp is a strong trader and you can see volume is drying up and sellers are hitting the bids. The market depth tells the story.

If we assume that WSP is going up big time and that ABZ will be sucked upwards to a lesser extent, the real leverage play is to buy ABZ calls if this it what actually happens. A modest appreciation in the share price of Aber would double/triple your investment more easily IMO.

Dear Teevee,
I respect your knowledge of geology but it looks like your enthusiasm for the Spear is clouding your judgement. In post 9394 you wrote :
"The trading activity today appeared to me as follows: very little shown on the bid with the offers being taken out when some modest size appeared. This suggests to me that new buyers are more sophisticated, have deeper pockets…"

Sorry pal, but there is absolutely no way you can evaluate the degree of sophistication and the importance of a market participant's capital resources looking at bids, asks and depth.

You also wrote in post 9400 that you expect the share price of WSP to leave ABZ in the dust following anticipated and confirmatory bulk sample results.

No way! Keine chance! Pas possible!

Aber's "proven" reserves in addition to their significant participation in the Camsell Lake project will keep the stock well ahead of Winspear's for the next 5 years! Do you remember when we were expecting a “P” discovery and WSP shares were trading at $4? Well, Aber was trading at a respectable $19 a share at the time…
I agree that WSP offers the best bang for the buck in regards to Snap but one should remember that there is considerable risk also attached to this Co.

Dear Spence,
It is a fact that fund managers are still suffering from the Bre-X fiasco, aren't we all?! If they are sorely tempted to get into Winspear in a big way? I don't know…
Winspear management could attract big money and eliminate all “doubts” if they wanted… how? Independent assaying! Get a reputable firm to take a large sample right in the middle of that dyke system et le tour est joué! If the grade is confirmed, the stock is an instant double or triple bagger! Easy isn't it? I'm sure all shareholders would agree to pay for independent assaying, wouldn't you? I certainly would…

All the best to WSP shareholders

Regards,

Pahww
