Zeev

Do you believe in the efficiency of the market when Canadian shorters have no interest in fundamentals and, having profited from the demise of IPM, Maxam, Chip and Naxos, are playing a pure numbers game?

You seem to believe that knowledgeable investors are the sellers. I disagree with you. IMO it is not the insiders selling into rallies. It is not sharp players manipulating the prices up so they can unload. It is short sellers. And based on prior inadequacies of the company the shorters have no reason to believe or even research fundamentals. They are not scared of McKay and never will be. They will only become scared when significant buying emerges because they pay attention only to numbers.

Also, my statements about McKays conviction are my interpretation of what he believes and are not statements he has made directly.

Regards, Ed

Zeev, <<You got to believe a little in the efficiency of the market.>> Not so, there would be no such thing as value investing if true. The trick is to find undervalued stocks that will appreciate when the market recognizes that value, the efficient market. We need to give you a little stock market refresher course. <VBG>
