established that when we did all of our holiday shopping in a couple hours on the net. H J advocates family shopping expeditions to the mall but does not understand that my kids are not yet tamed or house-broken yet. I enjoy them most when they are unconscious (i.e. sleeping) and doing their impersonation of cute children.

I would hope that you would aspire to greater things than being ethically equivalent to the major brokerages and their stock-promoting activities.

Sure. Goldman Sachs usually knows what they're doing, and you usually don't!

BTW, Goldman doesn't have many small retail investors.
