It looks like DELL is down a couple in after hours. I've seen them go through as low as 67 1/4.

Instanet really doesn't mean a whole lot. Today's action was more influenced by the fear that the Fed will not cut and the Iraq situation. Tomorrow will probably more of the same. If they get Iraq ironed out and the Fed cuts All stocks will rise. I'm certain that CPQ's movement will be more influenced by Dell's revs and forward-looking statements, and I haven't seen/heard any of that. It's time, barring economic woes and international prblems, for CPQ to stand on its own merit. After all, pc sales are good! In other words, a time will come when CPQ goes up and Dell goes down. CPQ may pull back a little on this news but it is important to note that DELL made (execeeded) their number and has said in the press release that the PC market is healthy. While this is obviously not going to satisfy the grossly overvalued DELL fundamentals, it is actually mildly positive news for CPQ. Remember, CPQ while not cheap, is not exactly at nose bleed levels. Not expecting anything wild tomorrow. I will add more if we get down near 31 ish.

Thanks,

Tony D.
