Monaco:

re <<Is it possible AMD can double earnings(grow 100% 1.7/3.7)in one year or is this guy just blowing more smoke???>>

An Excerpt from the article:

"Speaking at a meeting with financial analysts here, Sanders said revenue in 1999 could be $3.7 billion, rising to $4.4 billion in 2000 and $5.8 billion the following year.

The revenue figures are based on industry growth rates and Advanced Micro's own production estimates for its K-6 microprocessors."

Amazing this stuff passes for news. Yahoo must be manned by a bunch of Yahoos. Jerry, Jerry's kids, Sanders is a walking, talking rectum.

Best Regards,

Greg Gimelli

>And I hope this noise wasn't the reason
>why Intel fell from 105 today...M

why asking this. If the stock did indeed fall
due to this so what ? Does this make Intel
a "worse" stock ?

Remember Warren Buffett "you are never wrong
because the crowd disagrees with you, you are right
because your analysis is right ".

I believe in the long term INTC will win.
And I also believe the long term is short enough to separate
good business value from marketing bullshit.
