Matt, >>$35 may be too heavy of a barrier that it bounces around this range for a while.<< I don't think so. We've been floating around with pitifully low volume for a while, ever since at least 35 1/2 to 36 range. IMO, price can be moved around, but now the momentum is up again for a little while I would think. >>I feel if COMS has not made the breakout (above $40) from last report, then it will take another qtr. of solid earnings improvement.<< I disagree. Just because there's some great news and the stock pops up doesn't mean everybody will buy at that point. It depends how bad they need it. Seems to me like we hit $37, and we went back to consolidate, back and fill, and accumulate . To me the most striking thing over the last 3-4 days is the low volume. It doesn't look like it takes much work to do this backing and filling. When we were pre $32, it was taking forever. The float is drying up and IMO, it's better managed now, and there's greater demand. I'd like to know how many buyers are still out there waiting to buy before earnings. Hopefully, it is a whole lot of folks who think they have all the time in the world to buy a "low margin commodity" company. >> Still looking for trading range until next report and more likely than not a test of $30 in next couple of weeks.<< After today, that doesn't look as likely, but it is still possible. AND if we fling a few bombs over to IRAQ, it may have a lot more chance of happening....but I just read that it will take US forces 2 weeks to get the desired quantity of personnel over to that area. So, no war for two weeks. >>Do you see COMS sub $33 levels, range bound or breakout before next earnings report?<< After today, less chance of getting in at less than $33. I'm wondering what's going on with ASND and network area. Some new enthusiasm? I can now easily see breakout of $40 before earnings, no question (this doesn't mean it will happen, just that it's able to happen, IMO). Just depends how many buyers are lined up in the queue so far...the ones sitting around waiting for the "right time". There's no bad news, all good news, and news is getting better and better. We'll see how DELL does tonight. If DELL disappoints, scratch the above, but do you think they'll disappoint? I wouldn't want to bet on it. Sooner or later you gotta go long fellas. Time is running out. joe
