PCSS: Before the CC, before the Michael Dell charm offensive on all the TV outlets tomorrow morning, before Chief Bull Cramer gets his newsletter out and before other analysts have their say, its too soon to know what DELL will do tomorrow. However, the very active options market in DELL will create volatility.

The beauty of the Compaq position now is that if Dell is perceived to be slipping, Compaq is perceived to be one of the causes of that.

The after-wash might create some choppiness for CPQ, but fundamentally, CPQ is in a better position.

If DELL and CPQ were to drop tomorrow I would be buying for a short-term trade; if I have a choice it will be whichever of them drops the greatest percentage.

Victor

PS I'll try to paraphrase Cramer's comments if I get them later.
