Well said, Mohan. And BTW Internet sales now represent about 20%
of the Dell's revenue. Shouldn't that qualify Dell as an Internet
stock par excellence. :-)

Mohan, maybe I'm nuts, but consensus was $.27 and Dell came in with $.28. Where did all the doom and gloom guys come from? Sure, I was hoping for around $.30, but to hear these guys you would think the company lost $1.00!

TO ALL...
Am I missing something here? DELL missed .30 whisper. Ive not read the complete report, but it sounds terrific. Did we miss any projections? dont think so.
Will we get hit tomorrow. Yes. But a rate cut next week will spur a mkt an the verge of rolling over and DELL will participate!!!
So why all the long faces. Longs should be happy. Us options traders will get hammered.

<<Internet Now Represents 20 Percent of Company Revenue>>

That is truly incredible--just unbelievable for a company the size of DELL ($20+ BILLION in sales--and still not topped out). Internet stocks to scorch on Friday IMO.
