Because they are really bad numbers and you cant blame them for keeping them a secret...probably be released while we are all sleeping... The reason the time is confidential usually..is to prevent trading in front of the news..but most normal companies release them after the close....

I believe that they want to release earnings quietly on Friday after close, because they are so bad that the weekend would give the bad news time to settle and offset a morning after panic. OR It could be that they will release earnings Friday morning because they are good....cause a jump in price and a strong close going into Monday.

Did you see that the earnings came out at 4 am .i was till sleeping.. iknew it..anyway you might be interested,,Ill be doing a TV show tomorrow about the market and scams and fraud On the "Justice Files" a segment called Watch your Wallet.. I hope you and everyone else finds it inform,ative and interesting.. I have not been able to talk about which companies..i dont want to be accused of insider trading.. So know that the market is closed you will have to tune in and see which companies are targeted..
