The stock movement is not due to a short squeeze. Without looking at the charts or knowing short position before today, how could anyone short before today expect to gain much more than where it closed yesterday. I looked into shorting at the close but none of my 4 clearing houses had the stock to short so I am assuming that not that many people were able to short today. This is simply a case of irrational internet exuberance. Thank you Joe Kernen. IMO This will be back into single digits by next week.

Here in Chicago, Ameritech has been offering ADSL service for quite some time. The monthly subsciption runs at $49.99 a month plus $150 first time installation fee.

ADSL becomes just another way for a customer to reach internet: 56K, ISDN, and this. But keep in mind, @Home service offers internet access over your cable line at $39.99 and you get 10x faster speed than ASDL. There is nothing new about ADSL and its capabilities but today's stock action is typical PUMP & DUMP which is driven by pure greed and a small float. There is a big write-up at Briefing.com on AVCO and after reading the article, I became more convinced the stock price is not going to remain that high.

Protect your profit!

I figured that was a theoretical value...but not knowing the exact I gave you the figure which was illustrated...for example purposes only. You get the picture
