Hi Michael, I believe manufacturing costs of the Valence, all else
being equal will be about 15-20% more than the lith ion "pound for
pound". I can't speak to the retail price. Also, price vs. other specs
is even more difficult to determine at this point. There are other
threadsters who know more about this than I do. However, I suspect that any answers would still be inferences.

Perhaps I should clarify the first remark by saying that the lith poly
battery, "pound for pound" will have more capacity than the lith ion and probably cost about 20% less to manufacture on a capacity basis. These "guestimates" are only intended to give you a "feel" for the numbers. Others will have different estimates but not to worry, Valence will be competitive.
