AFTER THE BELL - (Reuters 11/12 18:06:20) Avtel Communications Inc. <AVCO.O> shares continued to rally after announcing a high speed Internet modem, which propelled its share price up 278 percent During the day Thursday. After hours, Avtel shares were up 7 from the close to 38, Instinet said. The New York Stock Exchange said session one volume on Thursday was 2,401,200, compared with 2,358,000.
