Even worse, that POS Silverman was awarded many of those options as a payoff for successfully completing the CUC merger.

Shareholders don't even know that they are being fleeced by reduced shareholder equity, lower retained earnings and dilution. It is a travesty and the SEC should require these games as well as the ongoing regular stream of "one time charges" to be taken against earnings. CEO's would straighten up real fast if they couldn't hide their dirty laundry any longer.

I saw your thoughtful post amidst the debris on the main thread. As you know this is an issue on which you and I agree, but obviously most investors don't understand or don't care. It will probably take someone pushing this to the absolute limit (like my example of paying your company bills with options) before someone wakes up.
