When more than one Fab is involved, John ... "Copy Exactly" is the only
way to insure that IC processes are the same. Engineers "love" to buy
the "latest and greatest" equipment, but the same recipe/instructions on
two different pieces of equipment will give different results. I would have
thought that AMD's demonstration of poor results transferring their .35um
process would have convinced you ... I guess not. Dresden could be
another "disaster" then.
