This is a core holding and without it, fund managers would be admitting the pc market is no longer a viable place to invest. A drop of almost three points today and an afterhours market another 3 points down offers many a chance to buy.

CNBC and Michael in the morning will determine the direction of this from here.

Don't ever bet against the big boys at earnings. It's instant death. This is still a wall street darling!

What people are missing is this company is not the same anymore. What is occurring right before your very eyes is another revolution as great as the direct model one. It will not be long before Dell will be the premier provider of DOWN LOADABLE SOFTWARE for every conceiveable application and corporations will love this. Corporate purchasing depts. do not order computers, servers etc. They are ordered by highly educated and technically oriented individuals like my son who is working as a computer programer for one of the baby bells. They appreciate the difference between a piece of crap like compaq and a quality product like Dell. Dell will become a worldwide behemoth over the INTERNET. Michael Dell knows this.
