Hey Spots

I'm
talking about more basic recovery procedures. The
NT literature for some reason is obscure about the most
elementary things.

Probably time for a refresher on this thread, as we
seem to be getting more and more early NT users,
so once you get it set up, post back for more discussion
on this topic.

Ok....I've got that in writing now...most certainly will take you up on that. Very considerate of you. Thanks for the OEM confirmation also.

Clarence

Well, Spots, since you asked.....

How do I get my computer to power down by itself after doing Shutdown? Asus P2B - worked fine under Win98, but with NT, hmmmm.

(I admit to playing with the registry a bit - but only two settings)

Also, why can't I get IExplorer to give me smaller fonts (smaller than 'smallest' in View/Fonts). They were smaller in Win98.

NT4.0 Workstation SP4 P2-266 192MB Ram.
