It is very unlikely that a vido card could cause Monitor damage.

But why does Windows 98 warn you just about every time you change your video settings? Windows 98 warns you that you could damage your monitor if the new video settings aren't compatible with your monitor.

Transferring applications from different drives?

I was recently asked by a friend to upgrade some computers in his office.

He has 3 machines, running on 3.1, 95, and 98.

I wanted to transfer the contents of 3.1 to the 95 machine and subsequently network the 95 and 98 machines using NetGear SB104.

Can I just remove the HD from the 3.1 machine. Install it into the 95 machine and still run all of the applications on the 3.1 drive.

If not how would i go, about transferring the contents of the 3.1 drive to the 95 drive.

Regards,
