I got my years mixed up.

Jules nominated Intel this year and you nominated it last year.

marc mccoy nominated Wonderware in Feb. 97 when it was at 10 and the company was sold for $24 cash to a British company 6 months ago. I don't know how well the buyer has done since the time of the purchase. The average stock has probably gone done 30%. You could make a case that Wonderware has been the best long term investment, although you'd have to pay tax on the gain.

I think a stort term investor who buys stocks every Halloween and sells them every Valentine's Day and pays taxes outperforms the long term investor, although you and Jules have done well with Intel.
