True. However, imagine if you shorted it today. Imagine that you had, for example, a day trade and were short 4000 shares at 10. Now imagine it goes to 20 and you think, "I'm down 40 grand and it's going to 25 right friggin' now. I need to get out." That's what happened.

I'm not saying somebody has not held it short overnight. I'm saying that some people shorted it, and they had to cover. That's why the stock ran from 12 to 34. I saw the bid at 33 and the ask at 50 after the market closed. That's obvious. The guy at 50 knew the guy at 33 had to cover. That's a short squeeze. The guys that were long and sold it above 20 took the short's money. Short squeeze.
