I just polished off the last container of asparagus I froze last May and notice the quality was not as good as the containers I opened in August and September. Hence I ask are there any recommendations regarding how long frozen asparagus will keep before the quality starts to deteriorate?

I am also surprised there isn't as much talk on this thread about asparagus in the spring as there is about tomatoes in the summer.
