IMO, NASDAQ is concerned that AVCO misled the public into thinking that they "developed," "invented," or "discovered" a new faster way to connect to the internet. They did not. ADSL has been around for a long time and it's development had nothing to do with AVCO.

You won't be walking into a Computer City and picking up one of these bad boy "AVCO modems" that will make the internet run 50 times faster. There is no such animal. ADSL is years from being a practical means of general use for data transmission. It might never even be used for the general public, due to the high cost of switching station conversions that would need performed in each little town across the country.

Hope everyone got out before the bell. I don't know what NASDAQ might do, but I would resist the temptation of counting chickens.

PS: This was written from my home at speeds faster than ADSL will ever see. . . via a common cable modem from the local cable TV company.
