HHHHuuuuuuuuu WHHHEeeeeewwwww. Ok.

George Will, this august:

There is no look as baleful as that which contorts the faces of some Clinton despisers when they think he might "get away with it." Have they not noticed?

Condign punishment is under way--public mortification, domestic torture (life on the White House's second floor must now be gothic) and political emasculation. Yet to come, the ridicule of history.

The object so sublime, to make the punishment fit the crime, is already being achieved.

Dream on Borzou. Interesting, though - you hit it - being driven by polls. Any surprise that polls touting Clinton's supposed approval were THE continuous topic of the news? Anybody bother to look into why? No of course not. We are a nation of ignorant sheep that can be led about by the intelligentsia.

Did we all of a sudden forget the "repeat it often enough and it becomes fact" mantra of the propagandists? Yes. After all, few have the willingness to subject themselves to the persecution of the purported majority.

We get what we deserve.

Mr. K.

Borzou,

You are absolutely correct. It is hard
for the Republicans to understand how
this President can remain in power after
everything he has done. In Washington,
the Republicans actually call Bill Clinton
the "Terminator" because it is impossible
to destroy this guy. I think that the
Senator from Penn Arlan Spector has it
correct when he says lets just drop the
impeachment proceedings and nail his ass
to the wall after he is out of office.
Once Bubba is no longer in power, he will
be a lot easier to punish in a Federal
Court. Probably, he might even do time
as well as lose his Federal Pension. I
am all for it. Lets put the proceedings
on hold until the last 3 Starr Reports are
in. Then make a decision on whether to
proceed.

-John

Can the way you think really be changed by an election? Do you really think that mine should be?
