yea "IT'S SERVICE" o.k. am I the only one here that thought AVCO owned ADSL technology????????

The funny part, is that the population base in Santa Barbara, Goleta and Carpenteria can't be more than 300k people. With Goleta hugely populated with the starving students of UCSB. Maybe Fess Parker, Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald will pay the extra bucks for an ASDL service, but the general population at large will be slow to part with the extra bucks.

this has to be one of the biggest mm scam jobs of all time. i know this company well. they are a small isp in central california. its not big news for an isp to offer asdl. all the big ones have been doing it for years. this company is a joke, rehashing the benefits of adsl modem technology and passing it off as if it new news. AVCO has under 25,000 subscribers and have yet to earn a profit. not even wothy of being a pink sheet. and many of you were buying it up as if they just reinvented the wheel. you will be lucky if you don't lose 50% of your money overnight depending on what nasdaq decides to do. if you want to invest in high speed inet technology take a look at internet ventures or ATHM; not some regional isp. good luck to those who weren't too greedy. if you re-entered this thing multiple times then you desevre the fate of a "fool". bazooka ""AvTel Communications, Inc., (Nasdaq:AVCO), and its Internet service provider subsidiaries Silicon Beach Communications and WestNet Communications today announced the launch of its DSLink service, providing high-speed Internet access over Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL).
