I wonder who's chip is in their modem. How about SEEK's? Just a fleeting hope... :-) As far as a bidding war and Internet plays, take a look at MALL who is a internet/mailorder hardware/software company. You've all received their PC Mall or Mac Mall catalogs? They have a online auction system ubid.com which they're planning to spin off. There will be 2M shares release and approx 80% of the shares will be distributed to MALL share holders. Mall has started trading heavy and is within $.75 of it's 52 week high. Yesterday it traded nearly 1/3rd the float of 4M. After seeing the action of EBAY and the EarthWeb (EWBX) IPO two days ago, I expect great things from MALL. They have a book value $5+, a M.V. 1/20th of revenue, 0 debt, profitable and the UBID website is having triple digit growth quartly. Last qtr the auction site did $15+M.
