A- The discrepancy is due to the fact that one is the growth in earnings (55) and the other is the growth in EPS (64)..

Apratim--- The whisper is far from all that counts. Many brokers can tell you the whisper being looked for--- not the site on the web that is generally wrong (called DELL @ 34 I was told). Very often when a company does not make what the analysts are truly looking for,, beyond the "consensus" the issue is punished. I think we will see that today. Often not for long --- but it happens. On the other side look at the "pops" that happen when there is an upside "surprise".
