bbruin, your audio player - have you tried to play a CD by just using
the buttons on your CD-ROM drive and an ear phone?
That would estabish its the program, not the CD-ROM drive.

Also, if you have Windows, check under PROGRAMS|ACCESSORIES|MULTIMEDIA.
There might be another audio player there.

<<My Real Player used to work fine,>>

Sorry, I have no ideas there. I have been notified that there is a new version around, but I have yet to find a use for the old one I have so I have no experience with it.

Just go to the Blue Squirrel web site, download the program and install it it will synch your two browsers. It works pretty well. The version I have does one odd thing ... it doubles up the bookmarks in Netscape but IE is fine. It got my book marks across. I just then edited them and threw out the duplicates and have not run Blue Squirrel since. If I do, it doubles them up again. Weird ... but it does the job you want done.
