I'm not sure what you have in mind with WCOM. Except it looks like going down again...

I was just suggesting that if you took 30 weeks of data, or 30 days maybe you'd get similar statistical properties, or 50 weeks or 50 days, but not for 150 days and 30 days or 250 days and 50 days. ie there may be self-similarity at different resolutions. I've heard people mention fractal nature of stockprices before but don't know of proper studies. Mandelbrot has done stuff on stock prices - mainly to show that their discontinuous nature makes certain trading systems unprofitable from what I can figure out.
