Does any body here know the story on the Hedge Fund that Mr. Pink is associated with. I have seen a few references on other threads that there is an article in Barrons on this. Mr Pink seems to have vanished.

Ken, an increase in inventory, or any asset for that matter, cannot create a loss in earnings. It merely changes one kind of asset (typically cash) for another.

BTW, it helps readers if you mention the stock symbol you are talking about. I was unable to guess.

I'm waiting for the 10-Q, which has to come out, in the next few days.

From those numbers, we will be able to see exactly how the company did. Especially what was the reason for the rise in inventory.

But you are right, this company is simply burning cash and it acts like nothing is wrong with that.
