Ah, yes, you've hit upon an important point, the inevitable decline in growth seen among large caps. This too can be handled by simply taking M(t) to be an exponentially-decaying term. The rate of decay can be estimated by old data and data from other companies. Since DELL is showing no signs of drastic reduction in growth, I'm still very bullish.

DELL IS A GREAT LONG TERM INVESTMENT!

True, Dell missed the whisper number, but beat the estimate

and is growing great guns! Expanding into global markets

and gaining market share.

It may give back a couple points, but look how much

the stock has gone up in the past couple years,

Compaq is trying to hold on to its ever decreasing market

share. Will Dell be number 1 next year or the year after?

Pretty good for an upstart company started only about 15 years

ago.
