Back to the virtual memory question, it is true that faster memory wouldn't help, but a faster disk drive would. And really I don't think we disagree. For most applications bandwidth differences may be measurable, but not noticeable. There are specific instances such as computers with no L2 or special programs with few loops where it becomes significant. So long as you say that bandwidth is not a significant inhibitor I have no disagreement.
