<<The imac sells as a pret-a-porter machine where not much additional goodies are
needed to buy.>>

Disagree. I bought one, on 8/15 no less. Steve Jobs in his infinite arrogance may think the world no longer needs floppy disk drives but that just isn't so. And the fact that current printers can't be connected to the USB port means that you either have to buy new drivers+cables or a new USB printer. Apple's promises that solutions would be available by the time the iMac was introduced were not kept. I had to wait two months for a floppy drive and for Epson to come up with a driver for the iMac. Nice internet machine but we use computers for other things, too, Mr. Jobs. EOR (End Of Rant)

Cristian,

Read the latest semiconductor news. Anticipated growth during the next 3 years is 43%. Especialy in the market of PC processors. Now my undrestanding is that this also means growth of computer sales. This is good news for CPU.
I was adding to my positions in semis during the last week. CPU should start moving shortly. IMO.
