Mohan,

Megan Graham Hackett of S&P Equity Group appeared on CNBC this morning. They were asking her "WHY" some investors were viewing these blow out numbers of DELL as negative?

Her response was quite upbeat and she felt that DELL deserved the high PE. She stated:

...DELL has lot of room to grow in server and storage

...DELL is a consistent growth story.

It seems that everyone was invited to a wonderful garden party and some decided to come as greasy bears. <G>

Mohan,

So how are you doing? I hear this stuff about the Dell report isn't up to those whisper numbers? So where do you think those whisper numbers come from, IBM? Dell is cooking on all cylinders, smokin the competition. And guess what? It's down because it didn't make the Streets numbers. Woe to the longs who don't care less. They keep holdin an makin the bucks.

Gee, am I surprised by all of this! This happened the last time they reported and how many points did it put on after that? As I see it, the longs will get richer, as always, and the shorts will have their day or two, giving the rest of us an opportunity to buy some more.

It's as simple as that. So how are you all doing? I am really enjoying Singapore. They already have their Christmas lights up and it's a wonder to see. Much better than than a lot of places who go all out. Like New York City, New York City? Yup, every street here in Singapore is light up.

One thing that is nice about the stock market, it gives us all an opportunity to make money, the longs and the shorts. But considering that Dell is up 250% this year, I do think its more in favor of the long term holders.
