Bill - Any comments on when MSFT will released NT 5.0 ? Current word being passed to developers by MSFT is that final product will be gated by beta 3 results. Beta 3 is expected mid-to-late 1st quarter 99, which would make NT5 release a late second quarter or early 3rd quarter product depending on the quality of beta3. Independent of that, MSFT is doing some great things with current product, for example the embedded NT announcement. I think MSFT has determined that getting to a quality NT5 release, even with a few features cut back, is better than rushing to market. The gate was really 1Q99, when they missed that they pretty much consigned themselves to an NT4 strategy for the Y2K transition, so there is now a lot of attention being paid to the NT4 product capability.
