You are a funny guy, David..and if more Republicans could just relax like you and have a little fun come into their lives, the Republican Party could stay the majority party. But you know what? Republicans just can't see how the Democrats stole every one of their "working" programs and cast aside every program that was not working [like abortion, like prayer in school] and guess what...history will look upon the republican control of the Senate and House as, unfortunately for you, an aberration. Here I am, a Democrat trying to save your party because I think that some of the OLD core values of the party are worth preserving. But you geeks have to kick the living hell out of the religious right, stomp on them, beat them up in a corner, smack them around and kick them out the door and lock it. THEN...you will be on your way to figuring life out once again...and who know, maybe I'll even come back if you get the hell out of my bedroom and knock off telling my 16 year old that she might have to bring an unwanted baby into the world because of an error in judgement. Screw that and screw you. Figure it out...or...Whig Party. and by the way, I am in favor of a measurable increase in the gas tax...and you know what would happen with a $3.00 gas guzzler tax at the pump tax? You would get all of these wacky housewives out of their Jeep Grand Cherokkees and Linclon Nav's and into something that fits the purpose of suburbia and we would stop importing oil from the towelheads, we would eliminate our balance of payments deficit, we would seriously eat into our total national debt and because of all that, our defense structure would be improved. so maybe you Republicans had better start THINKING and get your heads out of your ass...JUST ONCE!
