FMA:

I have to agree with JDN's last post esp. the first paragraph.
Looking at the action of many good profitable small cap stocks I have held in the last 2 yrs. and especially some operating within the Y2K scenario, I would have to agree that the "Y" in Y2k means "yoke" in the perspective of many investors. That's when the game is up.
The same players are at the table here talking but the onlookers are not buying in.
The stakes are small and the game is too slow for any large entries and this has happened with many issues that trade with small floats and volumes.
The CO may emerge with great gusto in time when it becomes apparent that it is a permanent stand alone operation. After a all it was just
a small cap issue - one step above a BB less than 8 mos ago.
Nobody should blame the CEO who's driving a one horse shay not a 20 mule team at this point. I'm still in, but my patient expectations are long term on a reduced amount of shares.

Dear FMA: Well, if I had bought at 7,11,12 and 12 and then had to sell at 4 I guess I would be cynical also. Many of us have warned others often not to buy this stock on margin. Too damn volatile. But if you look at recent history you could have bought this stock at 3 a very short while back and sold it at 7 just the other day. Are we going back to 3? Damned if I know, but if we do I will be buying more but NOT on margin. I suspect though we will likely trade in the 5-6 range until the next earnings release or some kind of block buster Press Release. Then, the price will be determined by the quality of the information. IF they meet or exceed 25 cents this qtr in earnings hard for me to imagin stock not rising. Same too if some kind of major news comes out regarding Core business. On the other hand if everything goes to hell then stock has proven it can slide down to 3 or so. In my judgement, company is worth more than $3 just for its Customer List. JDN

The supply of stock for sale that jumps out of the woodwork when TAVA starts to rally is not coming from individual investors according to what I hear. The market makers who are doing most of the selling do not have retail brokerages. They primarily fill orders for funds, money managers, etc. ie, wholesalers. It was evident if you watched the price on the day of the last earnings release. A line was drawn at $6.94, and there was a continuous supply of stock for sale there preceding the conference call. No big buyer emerged to counter the wholesale distribution that took place that morning, and the stage was set for the price to drop on the conference call, manufacturing the impression that TAVA had blown the CC. But if you checked the implied volatilities of the options that day, you'd have seen that the specialists who set the bid and ask prices were pricing TAVA considerably higher in 1999. They were setting a high probability on TAVA being $8 or above this spring while the price was heading south.

fma --- Hang around for awhile--- it should get better,, much better for a little while. Best to take 5 and run around 2000 while they still have a ton of accts receivable coming in. As those receivables start to dry up 5++ will look good. UNLESS Jj gets something going with PR (he said he would,,, contracts to exp??), hires someone with an idea of how to maintain/grow sh equity, and realises a positive post Y2K plan. Those believing the present Y2K plan will take this to new highs have not looked at the current price with huge additional high margin income that really will go away if changes are not made. I play for MY wallet not love of an issue. I thought we were all here as we expected to make a few $$,, evidently some are wealthy enough not to care. IMO we shall see a min of 7 again and possibly 9,, post Y2K I also feel 4 is where it shall land on the present course. I am still waiting to hear an understandable POSITIVE reason why the institutions do not buy---- why buy now for a pop that will not be sustained when they canbuy it (why??) much cheaper post Y2K would be my guess.Cynical, no--- honest with no axe or love. This issue made me so happy in the past if it closes at 2 today to remain forever I am still way ahead and can afford to be honest with this issue... now can some help be offered with the DELL purchased Thursday for the pop that went wrong <ggggggggggggggggg>.
