Orbit,
You will need to edit your autoexec.bat, config.sys and have the driver loaded for your cdrom. Your autoexec.bat & config.sys should look something like these:

autoexec.bat
LH /L:1,36224 C:\DOS\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD001 /E /L:D /M:10 /V
LH C:\DOS\SMARTDRV.EXE
@ECHO OFF
PROMPT $P$G
PATH=C:\;C:\DOS;
CLS

config.sys
DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS
DOS=HIGH
FILES=75
DOS=UMB
FCBS=16,0
DEVICEHIGH=C:\DOS\SETVER.EXE
STACKS=18,512
DEVICEHIGH=C:\CD625\VIDE-CDD.SYS /D:MSCD001
LASTDRIVE=Z

The bold italiced line in the config.sys shows where the cdrom driver is loaded from.

There might be an easier way to do this, if so some of the real gurus here will probably jump in and let us know.

Hope this helps,
Ed
